Meal Plans
How does it work?
- Residents will use their UIW student ID card to swipe to pay for their meals.
- The meal plan becomes active move-in week.
- If you are a resident, you are required to have a meal plan.
How does the meal plan break down?
- Meal plans split into two sections
- Meal points (Cafeteria)
- Dining dollars
- Meal points are used in the cafeteria in the Student Engagement Center.
- Meal points are per week and do not roll over.
- Dining Dollars are used at Red’s Pub (Luciano’s), Finnegan’s, Hortencia’s, and the Coffee Shop in the Student Engagement Center.
- Dining Dollars are per semester, and they roll over from the fall to the spring.
Where to I select my meal plan?
- Students will choose their meal plans during the housing application.
- Once selected, you will not be able to change your plan in the portal
Where are locations of campus to get food with my meal plan?
There are 5 locations where students can utilize their meal plan.
- Campus Dining (the cafeteria) in the SEC
- Coffee Shop in the SEC
- Red’s Pub (Luciano’s) in the SEC Basement
- Hortencia’s (Chick-Fil-A) in the Administration Building
- Finnegan’s in the Library.
How can I change my meal plan?
- Please note that we only accept meal plan changes during the active request periods.
- Active Meal Plan Change Request Period
- June 1st – August 10th (Fall Semester)
- November – January 5th (Spring Semester)
- Active Meal Plan Change Request Period
- To submit a meal plan change, please fill out our online Meal Plan Change form.
