Working at Tutoring Services gives you the opportunity to help your fellow students while also honing your own skills. We look for students who are motivated, responsible, and empathetic toward students who find the course material challenging. Tutors work with students individually and in groups to improve students' understanding of course material and study skills. All Tutoring Services employees must maintain a minimum overall GPA of 3.0.

Note: The Writing and Learning Center is connected to Tutoring Services. You are welcome to apply to be a tutor for writing and/or course content.

To apply, you need to submit:

  • An application through the Human Resources web page (coming soon)
  • Two faculty recommendations
  • An unofficial copy of your most up-to-date transcript
