Dr. Raúl Zendejas

Dr. Raúl Zendejas Director of First Year Engagement and Professional Development

Dr. Zendejas regularly advises first-year students in addition to overseeing the overall FYE and Career Services programs. He has been a part of the First Year Engagement program since its conception in 2005. Dr. Zendejas also oversees UIW's Emerging Leaders Program.

Before joining the First Year Engagement and Career Services Team, Dr. Zendejas served at Northwest Vista College as an Adjunct Instructor and Student Success Specialist. Dr. Zendejas has a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership and his focus is educating first-generation students with a concentration in motivational qualities of Mexican-American men who achieved their Ph D.
